Japa Info provides general information only. It is not legal or immigration advice.

Not legal advice

The guides and news on this site explain immigration rules in plain language. They do not cover every situation and are not a substitute for advice from a regulated immigration adviser or lawyer who knows the details of your case.

Rules change often

Visa rules, fees and funds requirements change regularly, sometimes with little notice. We update the site often, but a figure here may be out of date by the time you read it. Always confirm requirements on the official immigration website of the country you are applying to before you pay any fee or submit an application.

We are not a visa agent

Japa Info does not process visas, sell job offers, issue sponsorship or guarantee any outcome. Anyone claiming to act for Japa Info and asking you for money is not connected to us.

External links and advertising

We link to official websites, news outlets and sometimes to products we think are useful. Some links may be affiliate links, which means we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Adverts on this site are provided by third parties. We do not endorse every advertiser, and an advert is not a recommendation.

Calculators

The funds calculator gives a rough estimate using the exchange rate you enter. It is not an official figure. Check the exact amount you need with the official immigration authority and your school.
